Weekday afternoon Tot classes are offered for Club and Public skaters ages 2 to 5 years on either Tuesdays or Thursdays at 12:45 pm. Lessons are free for club members. Public lessons fee is $175 dor 8 weeks. Class includes 30 minute warm-up, 30 minute group lesson, practice time and rental skates. The slot allocated to Tot Classes is 12:45 – 2:45, but your actual lesson time will be a 30 minute lesson some time during that 2 hour slot. We will tell you the first day of class the exact time for your lesson. All students should arrive at 12:45 the first day and lesson will occur within the first hour the first day but could change in future weeks depending on the number of enrolled tots and their abilities. Please dress warmly and bring a bicycle helmet, gloves and appropriate coat.
Two exciting tot class sections being offered during Tuesday and Thursday class time only:
- Intro to the Ice – a class that is fun and interactive for toddlers ages 2-5 years focusing on developing a young skater’s comfort level. The class is taught with skaters wearing sneakers and walking out on mats on the ice.
- Parent & Me – bring your favorite grownup and Learn to Skate together!
Club Member Tot Lessons
Club tots ages 4 and older may attend our Club-only tot classes during Basic Skills on Fridays at 4:40 pm. All club participants must pre-register for these classes. Click here to pre-register for a Club tot or Basic Skills class.
Saturday Tot classes are for Public skaters ages 2 to 5 and are offered during our regular Saturday Public Group Lessons slot from 11:45 am-12:45 pm. Fee for Saturday tot lessons is $175/8 weeks for the public and $150/8 weeks for Club member tots who cannot attend the free classes on Tuesday/Thursday afternoon. Fee includes 30 minute group lesson, 30 minute practice and free skate rental. Please dress warmly and bring a bicycle helmet, gloves and appropriate coat.
