Public Group Skating lessons are offered to the public on various days of the week for Tots through Adults and for all levels of skating including Learn to Play Hockey. In the Spring and Summertime, the relaxed atmosphere and lighter classes make learning to skate a very fun opportunity.

Class Offerings

Tot Classes
During club season, Tot classes are offered on Tuesdays from 12:45-1:45 or on Wednesdays from 2:00-2:45 p.m. for young children ages 3 to 6. We also include tots in our Saturday children’s classes at 11:45 a.m through mid March.

Childrens Learn to Skate Classes
During Club Season, Children’s lessons are offered on Friday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. (all levels Beginner I through Freestyle and Learn to Play Hockey) for children ages 6-15.  In the fall and winter we also offer classes on Saturday afternoons from 11:45-12:45 p.m. (limited to tots and Beginner levels I-III) for tots and children ages 3-15.

Intro to Synchronized Skating Classes
Come see what this fastest growing sport in the skating world is all about!  The next class begins January 13 at 7:30 pm and is a 7 week class.  Children should be at least 5 years of age and passed Basic Skills level III or above.  Click here for information and registration form.

Adult Public Classes
During Club Season, lessons for Adults are offered during our Senior Skate session on Sunday evenings at 7:45 p.m.  In the Spring, Adult classes move to 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Public Skating

Friday evenings from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM year round.
Cost: $9.00 admission   $1.00 guest card    $3.00 skate rental

It is recommended that small children wear some head protection when they skate. It can be a hat or a helmet (bicycle or hockey). Gloves or mittens are required for younger skaters. Children under the age of 3 are accepted only with permission from Kathy Romano, the Group Lesson Director.
